THE CHILDREN AND GROWN-UPS has been working in Khabarovsk, Russia, since October 5, 2004.

OUR MISSION: We are dedicated to support all children and youth initiatives to reach their maximum spiritual and physical potential, and achieve independence in the modern society.

Albina G. Dolgan, the Children and Grown-ups Director: “We expect our children to know and love the Far Eastern Region of Russia, where they live. We dream about equal possibilities for children in receiving education, developing their mental, creative and physical abilities. We want our kids to live within careful society and clear environment, be kind, responsive and active. If grown-ups strive for all that along with children, everything will be a success, because children and grown-ups are always together!”

The Children and Grown-ups has adapted its programs to address changes in local societal problems. We invite our present and possible friends to participate in the following PROGRAMS:

- International Festival of Children and Youth Artistic Creativity “The Russian Far East and Asia Pacific Region: The Great Pacific Ocean of Friendship and Dream” – two Festivals were held in 2012 and 2013 in Khabarovsk, Russia. Since 2014 this Festival has changed its name into The International Festival of Children and Youth Artistic Creativity “The Russian Far East and Asia Pacific Region: Ocean of Friendship and Dream”.

- “Cultural Diversity Unites” is our Culture Exchange Program which includes the Exhibition called “Following The Ocean of Friendship and Dream Festival”, master-classes, excursions and interaction with friends. Our first experience was in Japan in May, 2014, thanking to our partners – the Happy Science Academy, the Yu Tourist Company and famous artist Emiko Horimoto.

- “International Student Travel Club” is a Social and Cultural Project. We develop special tours for students where they can practice professional skills, share experience and learn a lot useful things.

- “The Patriot” is a program of outdoor-classes on Regional Studies. We are interested in learning the regional nature, people and places where they live. According to this program, students travel to towns and villages, learn their sights, cultures and customs.

- “The Unity” Project provides educational, informational and consulting support to the Khabarovsk NGOs representing interests of all peoples living in our region.

We offer our SERVICES in the sphere of optional education, tourism, culture, information, children, and youth advocacy. They are non-profit making or commercial, the later are to feed the Charter Mission of the Organization and its Programs. They are the following services:

- Tourism – excursions, week-end tours, travels abroad and relaxation at the seaside; - Translations from Russian into foreign languages and from foreign languages into Russian – personal and business letters, contracts, instructions, texts of any kinds; - Resource help and consultation on how to establish your NGO and how to apply for grants; - Informational and resource help, consultations and trainings for school teachers; - Services of a guide and interpreter; - Holding seminars and trainings on multicultural interaction, business ethics, tourism, establishing a company, and others; - English lessons and consultations.

PARTICIPANTS of our programs represent all territories of the Russian Far East, Russia and Pacific countries. They are students and teachers, ensembles and initiative groups, parents and families. We are open for those willing to participate, become partners or donors of the Children and Grown-ups. We are grateful to all for their friendship, support, activity, their high spirit of creativity and understanding.
